Sign Manufacturers design and produce signs and graphics for marketing purposes. Signs can be produced using a range of traditional and contemporary techniques, often involving advanced printing software and technology, and a range of methods for illumination and fabrication. Sign Manufacturers are responsible for graphic design elements using design software, as well as the physical production of signs, for example, applying a large vinyl sticker to a board and mounting it for display.
The WorldSkills Australia Competitions are designed to test several key competencies in line with the nationally accredited Signs and Graphics Competency Standards.
