Graphic Design Technology involves working with external and internal clients to create solutions to their needs.
Graphic Design Technology may also include printing or online publication production. Graphic Designers require strong interactive, research, design and technical skills. In order to have these they need to understand the target audience, markets, trends, cultural differences and what each client wants.
The WorldSkills Australia Graphic Design Technology Competition covers all aspects of the technical, conceptual design and production process including the preparation of layouts and artwork, manipulating images and text to meet production and design requirements.
