Shaping the Skills Culture
TAFEs, Registered Training Organisations and Schools help strengthen Australia’s skills culture by hosting Regional Competitions and encouraging their students to compete.
By doing so, they demonstrate their commitment to raising standards in work-based learning. They showcase their institution as a centre of excellence in skills training and delivery, and provide students with valuable extracurricular experiences and pathways that support their growth, confidence and career development.

Partnering for Impact
When TAFEs, RTOs and Schools partner with WorldSkills Australia, they contribute to the development of skilled trades, support the apprenticeship system and empower students through opportunities that build leadership, resilience and industry-ready capabilities.
Training Providers are part of the broader network that makes WorldSkills events possible. The combined support of State and Territory Governments, education bodies and local institutions create the foundation for Regional Competitions, which goes on to create the platform for the National Championships and International Competitions
